baby shelia's birthday party
was out yestaerday to attend baby shelia's birthday party...initially erene and i hung out @ raffles city to do some window shopping and had some haggen daaz ice-cream. yummy...the brownie was delicious, too bad we forgot to take some photos of it. bump into xiaowei, mabel and miss ang there! haahaa..it has been very long since i last saw them.heading to shelia's party venue, erene and i got a little lost but of course it wasn't tt difficult to find. walked in, didn't see shelia. then someone from my behind called my name..i was like, "hmm..who else here knows me?" turned ard, it was shelia's mum. haahaa..auntie still remembered me after so long. used to go shelia's hse to study during 'O' and 'A' levels but tt was very long ago. sang songs of praises, played games...then shelia's dad gave a 'speech' abt his dear daughter, showed a ppt with lots of pictures of shelia frm baby till now as an adult. it's very touching to see her parents doing tt for her. so surprised i was in 1 of the pictures, haahaa...if i'm her, i'd be touched to tears too...tears of joy flow frm my dear girl's face..seeing her parents' love for her, and love frm all friends, it warms my heart.her 'cake' was very cute too. it's actually agar-agar with a doll and clown faces on top of it. the doll is so pretty, looks just like my baby..haahaathen shelia gave a thank-you speech too and she couldn't stop tearing. glad to see this girl grow up frm a teenager to now as a young lady!seeing shelia grown stronger and walking more faithfully with God, i'm truly happy for her. glad to have her coming into my life and impacting it in a certain way. really grateful and thankful for a friend like her. she has made me see God's way of life with her actions and behavior, and it touches me deeply! my dear little baby has truly grown up!
