nightriders 2006
sat night was finally the day for nightriders 2006, a night cycling event by nus students' science club. it was fun! being assigned to a group of competitors as safety rider, my main job was to ensure their safety and make sure they follow the given route. but after meeting up with them, i realised they're all foreigners (malaysians). then suddenly i felt like i'm part of their grp cos i help them nagivate the route. haahaa....it's really fun interacting with them though. all of them are freshmen, making me feel so old. but still, they're a fun bunch. though all of us were shagged out halfway, some feel like giving up, we still managed to complete the whole route! yeah! starting frm ecp -> food lagoon -> deadend pt -> lau pat sat -> newton food centre -> lavander food centre -> joo seng (@ upper aljunied, near kaki bukit) -> 85 market (@ bedok) -> ecpit was really a long long route man! the route from lavander onwards to each checkpt was very long, i must say...and by that time, all of us like half dead already. i was still ok though, felt that it wasn't bad as the previous time when i did the dry run. the dry run route was much longer then this. and i was almost falling asleep along the way then. after a nice breakfast @ mac, it's time to head home. by the time i was home, it's ard 1130 on sun morning.showered, then church time. then went to bt timah to get a digital cam with mum. headed back home again, concussed on the bed frm 7pm yesterday night all the way till now. haahaa...what a pig rite?! and i'm going for forbidden city tonight! yeah...i'm looking forward to it, though it's my 2nd time watching it...
