something to smile abt

been reading this book, "something to smile about : encouragement and inspiration for life's ups and downs" it's by zig ziglar. here are some stuff i like.

ambition--good or bad?
'lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. we all have 24-hour days'

why worry?
worry has been described as "interest paid on trouble before it comes due." worry is like a rocking chair, it requires a lot of energy, and it gets you nowhere. doubt always created worry, and in most cases, lack of information raises the doubt. one solution that will reduce your worry is this: don't worry abt what you can't change. the message is clear: if you don't like your situation in life, don't fret or worry--do something abt it. worry less, and act more.

the bounce-back kid
'your past is important, but it is not imortant enough to control your future.'
